Ways to Save

The Museum of Science is committed to minimizing barriers —financial or otherwise— so we can be accessible for all. No matter the reason for your visit, we have a variety of offers to suit you.

We look forward to seeing you!

Savings for Individuals

Membership

Membership is a great way to enjoy the Museum all year long and can pay for itself with just ONE visit. Members receive free Exhibit Halls admission for a year, free and discounted tickets to some of our most popular attractions, invitations to members-only events, and discounts in the Museum garage, café, and store.

Best Value: Two Visit Ticket

Visiting the Museum late in the day? Visit a second time on us! If you are purchasing a full price Exhibit Halls admission ticket at the box office in the final two hours of the day, we will stamp your ticket for a second return visit within the next six months.

Library Passes

Many public libraries offer free or discounted Exhibit Halls passes for individuals. All you have to do is reserve a dated pass with your library and pick it up from them before your visit. Contact your local library for more information.

WIC and EBT Cardholders

As a member of the EBT Card to Culture program, we are proud to offer MA EBT or WIC cardholders up to 4 free Exhibit Halls admissions, with valid MA photo ID all year long. EBT Card to Culture is a collaboration between the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services’ Department of Transitional Assistance.

US Active Military Members

All active US service members are welcome free of charge upon showing their Geneva Conventions Common Access Card (CAC).

Veterans

Veterans enjoy free Exhibit Halls admission on Veterans Day upon showing proof of Veteran Status such as DD Form 2 or DD214.
