During the space race of the 1960s, NASA found untapped talent in a group of female African American mathematicians. Discover this true-life story during two FREE screenings of the hit film, part of our Women’s History Month Celebration.

Hidden Figures tells the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer), and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – brilliant African American women working at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn, a stunning achievement that turned around the space race. The visionary trio crossed all gender and racial lines and inspired generations. 

The film also stars Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, and Glen Powell. Directed by Theodore Melfi. Written by Allison Schroeder and Theodore Melfi, based on the book by Margot Lee Shetterly. Released by 20th Century Studios (2016). Rated PG. Experience it all the Mugar Omni Theater, featuring New England’s only IMAX® Dome screen!
