Why Green Iguanas Are Remarkable Creatures

What makes iguanas like Iggy unique? In this video, Museum Educator Jason talks with Iggy’s handler about all the things that make green iguanas so special. Iguanas can run over 20 mph, and they can be four to six feet long at full size. They have dangerous claws, strong jaws with many teeth, and a powerful tail that makes up half of their length can be used like a whip. They’re also highly intelligent!
