Did you know that a common weed found in your yard can become a delicious and nutritious addition to your dinner? In this video, Maynard Okereke shows us how to make a dandelion infused vinegar that can be used as a salad dressing, or as a marinade for meats and vegetables. He instructs us to gather a bundle of dandelion flowers, rinse them thoroughly, and add them to a jar filled with white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar. After about four weeks stored in a cool, dark place, the vinegar will be ready to use once the flowers are strained out. This vinegar will be a healthy addition to your kitchen pantry, as dandelions are a great source of Vitamins A, C, and K, as well as Magnesium, Iron, and antioxidants!
