From Single Mom to Leading a NASA Mission with Lindy Elkins-Tanton

How does being relentless help women working in STEM fields? Principal Investigator on NASA’s Psyche Mission Lindy Elkins-Tanton describes her journey to leading a space mission. She describes how in her 20s, she wasn’t in school and didn’t feel a strong sense of direction in her life. At the time she started working towards her Ph.D., she was a single mom with a son in kindergarten. She uses her experience to encourage others to persevere through challenges and to not be afraid to change paths in life!
