What would drive someone to do the work to get a PhD? Neuroscience PhD candidate Lindsay Ejoh describes how she wants to start her own lab to study chronic pain conditions that disproportionately affect women, such as gastrointestinal pain, endometriosis pain, and sickle cell pain. She explains how having her own lab would allow her to pursue the answers to her own questions, and research everything there is to know about a topic in order to push those questions further!
