What meteor shower is known for producing earthgrazers? In this video, we explore how the Taurids are characterized by these bright, colorful meteors! Earthgrazers are so named because they skim close to the Earth’s surface before returning to space. The Taurids will be visible in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, with the Southern Taurids peaking on November 4-5 and the Northern Taurids peaking on November 11-12. Unfortunately the bright Moon will drown out many meteors, but there’s still a chance you could catch a spectacular earthgrazer!
