What’s it like to choose between two passions when finding your career path? Neuroscience PhD candidate Lindsay Ejoh describes how she was torn between pursuing music and STEM. Her parents wanted her to be pre-med, and she had always enjoyed biology, but she was also a choir kid with a passion for music. She double majored in neuroscience and vocal performance in college, but ultimately decided that her STEM classes were more interesting and a career in neuroscience would be more gratifying, so now she is in her fifth year of her PhD program!
