A Bright New Star? Not Quite…

Your January night sky forecast is here! This month, three planets will be visible in the night sky. Venus, also called the “evening star,” can be spotted for a few hours after dark. Venus is the brightest planet because it’s close to the sun and covered in reflective clouds! Dimmer Saturn will approach and pass Venus this month, with their closest appearance being on January 18.
