200 MPH Electric Motorcycle

How fast can an electric motorcycle go? In this episode of Sophie’s Electric Road Trip, Sophie Shrand of @sciencewithsophie visits Ohio State University’s Center for Automotive Research, where Laura is working on an electric motorcycle that could go over 200 miles per hour! This will be done with batteries, an electric motor, an inverter, and an electric powertrain. When it’s completed the electric motorcycle will be tested at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
