Should you have your baby's DNA sequenced? What keeps you awake? How efficient is your walk? Step inside the Hall of Human Life, the Museum's expansive biology exhibition, and encounter such far-reaching questions on an amazing journey inside the human body. Spanning more than 70 interactive components, the exhibition will revolutionize how you engage with your biology and manage your health.

Filled with findings from the frontlines of health, medicine, and the life sciences, this exhibition was created with the help of local experts from hospitals, academia, industry, and public health — and it’s designed to keep changing with accelerating breakthroughs.

At the heart of the exhibition is the Biogen Foundation Exploration Hub, where you can ask Museum educators your questions. In five inquiry areas — Food, Organisms, Physical Forces, Time, and Communities — you’ll investigate how forces in these “environments” change us biologically, how we change them, and how those changes can shape the future of our species.

The Human Body Theater immerses you in stories tied to these five environments; currently you can learn what it means to live with hearing loss; you can explore more more in the accompanying exhibit section.

Looking for these?
While not exactly human, some Museum favorites are bringing “life” to the Hall of Human Life. The cotton-top tamarins, as well as the axolotls and bees (seasonal) dwell in this inspiring setting, providing you with the opportunity to explore the behavior and biology of other live animals.
