This event is sponsored by Image Image Featuring Image Dr. Guillaume Chebion Sports Medicine Fellow, Boston Children's Hospital Dr. Guillaume Chebion is a French-American sports medicine fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. He has been trained in France and the US, notably as a family medicine resident at the Sorbonne and internist at Harvard Hospitals. Some of his specializations include sports injuries, performance medicine, and diagnostic ultrasound for athletes. Image Dr. Patrick Couchot Resident Physician, Boston Children's Hospital Dr. Patrick Couchot is a French-American physician and is currently the Female Athlete Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of South Florida and his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. When providing care for his patients, he helps them optimize their health and performance by providing compassionate and evidence-based care. Image Marie-Ange Brumelot Professional Distance Runner French born and raised, Marie graduated from NYU with a BS in civil engineering and an MS in real estate development and now trains full time as a professional athlete. She was selected among the national team to represent France at the 2020 Half-Marathon World Championships and holds a Marathon personal best of 2:33:12. This spring, she ran the second fastest 100 km road race in history, qualifying her for the 2024 100 km World Championships held in December. Image Lauren Kuntz Double Decathlon World Record Holder Lauren Kuntz is a leader in the push for a women's decathlon, a track and field event currently restricted to men. She is the world record holder and reigning world champion in the icosathlon (double decathlon) and indoor tetradecathlon (double heptathlon) — the ultra versions of the standard decathlon. She is currently the organizer for the Inaugural Women's Decathlon World Championships, happening this August 2024. After having grown up in the sport of gymnastics, Lauren got her start in track and field in college at MIT where she became a 3x D3 All-American in the pole vault. Image Maria Guramare Data Analyst with the Boston Celtics, Former International Basketball Player Born and raised in France, Maria combined her secondary education with top-level basketball at the French National Institute of Sports (INSEP) in Paris before moving to Boston. She then attended Harvard University and graduated with a BA in applied mathematics for biology and computer science, while playing NCAA Division 1 basketball.After two and a half years working in Boston’s vibrant biotech ecosystem on cancer research, she went on to join the Boston Celtics’ Basketball Operations team as a data analyst. She is passionate about health tech and derives her experience from both navigating personal sports injuries and studying/ doing research on a range of biology and health issues. Image Lanita Foley Moderator Lanita Foley, a Stanford graduate, holds an affiliate faculty position at Emerson College’s School of Communication. She is a scholar with interests in sports and international relations. A former athlete, she currently trains with the world’s strongest woman who set the Guinness World Record for powerlifting.
