Wilderland Film Festival

This virtual offering will stream live from the Museum of Science for registrants to enjoy at home. Registrants will receive links to view this program via email within 24 hours of the event start time.

Wilderland has recruited some of the world’s most acclaimed wildlife filmmakers to select a showcase of the very best independent films to take on tour, and now the hit UK festival is available for American audiences to experience for one night only in this special virtual screening!

Following its debut tour in fall 2019, Wilderland Film Festival is back for 2021, with brand-new films, judges and live dates. Judges include Wendy Darke (founder and CEO, True to Nature), Huw Cordey (series producer Silverback Films), Tim Lasseter (freelance editor for Discovery/BBC Studios/Quibi), Doug Allan (BBC camera operator for Frozen Planet, Blue Planet), Justine Evans (camera operator for BBC / National Geographic) and Gordon Buchanan (BBCP presenter and camera operator for Animal Family and Me series), Peter Venn (program leader, MA Wildlife Filmmaking course, UWE) and Tom Hugh-Jones (creative director, Plimsoll Productions).

Introduction from Dan O’Neill, filmmaker and founder of Wilderland.
