The Museum of Science is proud to welcome back the Triggered Project with an all-new live taping of Living a Triggered Life podcast, declared by Feedspot as the Top 2 rated Black Marriage Podcast on the web. Created and hosted by Keith Mascoll (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) and Roxann Mascoll (MSW LICSW), this groundbreaking podcast asks the question: “how do you navigate being triggered while in a relationship?”
Join Keith and Roxann, a Black couple who have their own trauma histories, for a special Music of Our Relationship episode featuring guest DJ Mo Wilks, as they talk about current events, love, mental health, relationships, and family dynamics as they explore the impact on their long-term marriage.
This program is free, thanks to the generosity of the Lowell Institute.

Roxann Mascoll, MS, MSW, LICSW, is the lead clinician for The Triggered Project, and a cohost of the Living a Triggered Life Podcast with her husband Keith. She is an independent child protection and domestic violence consultant, having worked in the child protection state system for 14 years as a domestic violence specialist. Mascoll is a staff psychotherapist at Brandeis University Counseling Center and a lead clinical social worker at Boston Medical Center. She is the vice president of the Alumni Board at Simmons University.
She is a former president of the Greater Boston Chapter of the Association of Black Social Workers, and is part of The Executive Board of the New Metro West Massachusetts Chapter. Her leadership nurtured the Boston chapter back to national prominence. Learn more at roxannmascoll.com.
Keith Mascoll SAG-AFTRA, AEA is an actor, producer, mental health advocate, sneaker-head, and founder of the Triggered Project. Keith is a cohost/producer of the Living a Triggered Life Podcast with his wife Roxann, a luminary for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, 2021 Cambridge Community Foundation Social Innovation Award winner, and NASW MA Chapter’s Citizen of the year 2021.
Mascoll strives to use his art for social change in the Black and brown community. As a survivor of sexual abuse, he hopes to help end the stigma that surrounds mental health and Black and brown men. He is also recognized as one of the new leaders in the national movement to end child sexual abuse. He is a cofounder of a professional Black theater company, The Front Porch Arts Collective. Look for Mascoll in the award-winning film Triggered Life, directed by John Oluwole Adekoje, on the Festival Circuit; in the lead role in the movie Confused by Love on Amazon Prime; and as Applesauce in The Polka King on Netflix.
