Garden Walk & Insect Zoo

THE NEW SPACE DOES NOT REQUIRE PURCHASE OF TIMED TICKETS.

Please note that the Butterfly Garden has been temporarily converted to a Garden Walk & Insect Zoo. (Currently, there are no butterflies housed in this space.)

In our tropical Garden Walk, you can investigate a carnivorous plant display and check out some local pollinator plants to give you some great ideas for your own backyard. Be sure to say “hello” to our invertebrates: stick insects, beetles, true bugs; as well as other inverts: (tarantulas, scorpions, and millipedes), and our ever popular leafcutter ants. And you might spot a frog or two and occasionally see one of our animal ambassadors visiting from the Live Animal Care Center!

Want a preview of what you’ll see in our Insect Zoo? Check out our leafcutter ants as they harvest leaves for their fungus garden!
