About This Collaboration

The Center for Excitonics is an Energy Frontier Research Center supported by the U.S. Department of Energy at MIT’s Research Laboratory of Electronics. The Museum’s Strategic Projects Group works with Center faculty to provide an intensive year-long training program in science communication for graduate students associated with the Center.

Marc Baldo is the director of the Center for Excitonics. The Research Communication Laboratory is taught by the Museum’s director for strategic projects, Carol Lynn Alpert, assisted by program manager Karine Thate. For more information, email calpert@mos.org.
