The Hall of Human Life is a revolutionary new permanent exhibition that uses data to tell stories about modern scientific explorations into human biology. This three-day institute for teachers of grades 6 – 12 will lay the foundation for using the exhibition to inspire student thinking and questioning in science.
The Hall of Human Life empowers teachers with opportunities to collect real data that can be used in the classroom to broaden students' understanding of what scientific exploration looks and feels like. Whether you want to increase the quality of science fair projects, or infuse current biology topics into your life sciences curriculum, this exhibition is the tool for you.
Get hands-on experience with the exhibition and build your confidence working with data with students in the classroom. The Hall of Human Life can be your personal laboratory and a starting point for exciting inquiry in your classroom.
Participants for this institute will be selected by a competitive application process. Interested teachers are encouraged to apply with a school or district colleague.
