Microsoft's Young Innovators Scholarships

Thanks to support from Microsoft Corporation, students in Boston and throughout Massachusetts with a demonstrated need have access to interactive courses offered by the Museum of Science's Summer Science Program for the second year in a row. Over the past two years, Microsoft 's generous support of the Young Innovators Scholarship Program has provided financial assistance to some 40 income eligible students per year enabling them to participate in our Summer Science Program.

According to Paul Fontaine, vice president of programs at the Museum of Science, Microsoft's gift opens doors and sparks imaginations. "With more than 80 hands-on classes, there is something for everyone. From aspiring chemists to future engineers, Microsoft's gift allows students in grades 1 - 10 to program robots, learn how to track animals, explore insects up close, build a working stop watch, fly a rocket, and more."
